The 8 week program, weather pending, will kick-off on September 7th. There will be three weeks of practice followed by 5 weeks of controlled developmental gameplay refereed by certified officials. All events will occur on Saturdays at Long Reach High School in Columbia, Maryland. October 26th will be the last day of the season. Age Divisions are 5-6, 7-9, 10-12, and 13-15yrs old. Activities are 75-90 minutes. Start times listed below. Age determination date is August 1, 2024. All players will receive a uniform top. We ask that participants wear black bottoms they are comfortable in. Closed toe shoes required, cleats optional. Mouth guard required for all on field activities. All other equipment provided.
Practice and game times will vary based on total enrollment, but all fall activities will take place in the afternoon on Saturdays.
Teams are led by experienced and trained Be You Sports Inc. flag football coaches. In addition to teaching the fundamentals of flag football, coaches will lead SEL activities to develop and strengthen the social and emotional health of participants.
